What is Number Series?

 Number series is a sequence of numbers form that follow a specific system of series to get next term. Series follow a specific pattern to get next term. 

For Example : 1,3,5,7,9 

In this example the series follow a consistent pattern that add 2 in next term to get a next number.

What are types of Number Series ?


There are many types of number series.

Some of them are as following:

1.Addition series : In this type numbers are added as sequence or other way.

For example : 2,4,6,8,10,12

In the example number 2 is added  everytime .

2.Substraction series :In this type numbers are substracted in  series.

For example :15,12,9,6,3

In the example number 3 is substracted.

3.Multiplication series : In this type of series numbers are multiplyed .

For example : 2,4 ,6,8,10

In this example one number is multiplyed with 2 everytime.

4.Divide series : In this type of series number is divided by a specific number.

For example : 2187,729,243,81

In this example first term is divided by 3 to get next term.
